2015 was a year that we thought would change our lives forever, we would get to meet our new baby and start our family. Unfortunately when we did meet Theo we had to deal with the devastating news that we would have to say goodbye to him at the same time Kate would be recovering from nearly losing her life too.

I promised Theo when we said goodbye that we would raise as much money and awareness of the disease that robbed him of his life. So I am using this page to document all the fundraising events and challenges.

In February 2016 Pete Wallis bravely decided to have all his hair shaved off for the marathon fundraising, this was a big deal for Pete, Kate and I were touched that he decided to raise money for us. He raised around £600 to go towards our marathon total!!

Thanks so much for what you did mate we both think you are amazing.

In April 2016 my old school friend Alana Gibbs completed the Plymouth Half Marathon in a great time of 2 hours 15 minutes. She managed to raise an incredible amount of £1,064.

She also painted and sold some art work to go along with her fundraising efforts.

Thanks so much for all the fundraising and raising awareness of pre-eclampsia in our sons name it really means the world to us.

Liam came up with a very good idea of getting some socks made with Theos name on and getting the whole club to wear them on a match day which was amazing to see and such a great idea massive thanks to Liam, John English and everyone that brought the socks.

We also had a couple of local football teams wearing them too.

Firstly Silverstone Football Club brought the socks and also raised money at their end of season dinner which they very kindly donated to our cause. So massive thanks to Johno and the boys.

On the 7th May one of Kates best friends Francesca Bains abseiled down the Northampton express lift tower which stands at a massive 418ft!!

She was very brave for doing it and raised over £700 for the local charity Children are Butterflies which helped us cover all of the expense and helped us plan Theo's funeral. So a massive well done and we are very proud of you.

It all started in the french alps in a cosy hot-tub session my mate Tom proud owner of a magical beard and Noel a friend said he would sponsor tom £250 to cut it off!! As time went on and with a very generous donation from Noel and all the guys at RECOL Engineering he raised over £1,000 pounds!!

Kate and I would like to thank all of you for being hero's and helping us raise an amazing amount of money and awareness of Pre-eclampsia.

Watch this space for more challenges and fundraising in 2017.
